Why did shedinja faint in rumble world?

Question

I was batlling zekrom with a shedinja, zekrom's attacks did nothing and gothitelle's attacks did nothing either. But after a while shedinja fainted. How did shedinja faint?

I've been wondering the same thing. After about 3-7 non-supereffective attacks, Shedinja will faint. Nintendo just made it that way.
