In Gen VI, who would do the best job at being a fossil Pokemon? Bulkier Pokemon such as Bastiodon are great, but what about power like Mega Aerodacyl and Rampardos, or just in-between, like Aurorus and Cradily?
In addition, along with your choice, could you provide a moveset with the Pokemon? Thanks!

It depends on what you want. If you want a fast physical sweeper, you would choose Mega Aerodactyl. However, if you want a simple all-out attacker, my choice would be Rampardos. If you want a wall, then Bastiodon is the only way to go. My choice would be Aerodactyl, because who cares about defense when you hit first and kill the enemy? :)
Moveset:
Aerodactyl @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

While that set/spread is really good competitively, for ingame simple ones probably do better. SR and Taunt tend to suck ingame.
Thanx! I was leaning toward  him too.
+1 on Aerodactyl because in X/Y you can get one pretty early, and the mega stone is in the same location. It's also useful against 1 of the Elite 4 as well as two of Lysandre's Pokemon.
