you can catch the legendaries relatively easily with a shedinja that knows false swipe. The highest level legendary in that game is Rayquaza. and its only attack that can damage Shedinja is fly, so use protect whenever it flies. The tm for that is available at lilycove store.

Yes, but only before defeating Tate and Lisa. After that, the only way to get it is the lottery, which you can't do while the battery's dry.
