What would happen if you used Electrify on a Pokemon with Normalize? Would the ability or the move affect what type all moves used are?
They turn into electric moves. Abilities always take priority over moves, unless the ability's nature itself specifies otherwise. So it first turns into a normal type move, and then an electric type move.
