also, many people go for 5 IVs (5 perfect IVs) instead of 6 because there's normally a useless stat that isn't going to be used (I think it's normally attack or special attack, depending on the Pokemon.) because one stat is useless to that pokemon, people normally just forget about the IV that isn't going to be used and let it be random so they don't have to go through the trouble of getting another perfect IV for nothing. (But that's just what I think) But don't take my advice, have somebody that is better with IV than me explain it to you.
