How do Tangled Feet and Swagger operate?

Never seen anyone try this before. I'm guessing there's a good reason, but best to put this out there in case anyone ever wonders again.

Pidgeot@Persim Berry
Trait: Tangled Feet
(Physical Sweeper Moveset)
AND
(Insert bulky Pokemon that learns Swagger here)@Leftovers
Trait: Don't Care
(You know it: Splash!)

So what exactly happens here? Evasion is raised 20% while confused according to bulb and pd. Is that buff kept after the Persim Berry snaps Pidgeot out of confusion?

No. Evasion is only raised while confused.

Thanks. That's the answer I'm looking for. Won't be trying that anytime soon. May be onto something with the splash idea though....
