How much HP do substitute dolls have?

Question

I read this from an answer by [ItsGuillotine:][1]

"Substitute only affects Focus Punch being interrupted by damage. Payback, Avalanche, etc. work normally and Counter and Mirror Coat are based on the Substitute's HP."

And that got me thinking.

I always knew that they had some, but how much did they actually have?

I think it is OK to have both these questions because the one linked above assumes knowledge that this one doesn't.

They take away 25%+1 hp from the 'mon that uses the move,

meaning:
If your pokémon has a total of 100 HP, the doll will have 26 HP.

So does that mean that Shedinja could use substitute without dying?
