How do I get the final IV for my Pokemon?

Question

My Aegislash has 5IVs in HP, Attack, Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed so how do I breed a Honedge with the 6th IV in Defense?

Luck :)

The only way to get the 6th IV is by luck.
There are ways to increases it, such as :

• Parents having 6IVs each
• Holding the Destiny Knot

Breeding with 2 6IV Pokemon will guarantee you having 5 IV Pokemon
babies no matter what though, but the bad stat will always be random
