I think you can. You go into a patch of grass, click on the Pokémon you want on the DexNav, then click 'Search'. There will be a patch of grass shaking with that Pokémon. Sneak up to that patch of grass, catch/defeat it, repeat. Use Repels to prevent other wild Pokémon from breaking your chain.
