How do I capture Vulpix in Diamond without LeafGreen?

I want to capture a Vulpix in Pokemon Diamond, but, it says that it is only available if I have LeafGreen in a GameBoy Advance compatible system.

Can I still capture Vulpix without LeafGreen?

Sorry, but the only way to get Vulpix in Diamond is using LeafGreen.

This is the same for Pearl and Platinum, however you can get it by Pal Park or trading from HGSS.

No. The only way to obtain Vulpix in diamond is to complete the main story, insert leafgreen into the GBA slot on ur ds, and go to route 209 or 214.
