I was calculating the power of Brave Bird on Talonflame and Aqua Jet on Azumarill. I wanted to make sure I was doing it right.

BB starts at 120 power, then STAB's to 180.
Then my Talonflame has a Focus Sash and Swords Dance so that would put its power at 360 with +1 priority (Gale Wings).

Azumarill first uses Belly Drum to push its base power to 160.
Then factoring in STAB, it goes up to 240
Then it has Huger Power, so it would become Base 480 with +1 Priority.

Is this all right? Because both these base powers are ridiculously high. Thanks!

Ok let's start with the math!

Brave Bird - 120 power x 1,5 (STAB) = 180 BP
Now with the Swords Dance: 180 x 2 (Swords Dance) = 360 BP
Remember when you use Brave Bird, you lose HP!

Belly Drum = x4 Attack
Aqua Jet = 40 BP x 1,5 (STAB) = 60 x 2 (Huge Power) = 120 x 4 (Belly Drum) = 480 BP + Priority Move.

Conclusion:

Brave Bird = 180 BP / 360 BP with SD

Aqua Jet = 480 BP

Yes your calculations are correct!
Hope this helps.

yea ok thanks.  That is ridiculously high base power!
In STABmons:

Diggersby (M) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- ExtremeSpeed

What this means?
Extreme Speed (80) x 1,5 (STAB) = 120 x 4 (Belly Drum) = 480 x 2 (Huge Power) = 960 BP with +2 Priority! :D
