Are there any other ways to access Wi-fi in Pokemon SoulSilver?

I want to use GTS in Soulsilver but I can't because the the Wi-fi servers have been closed. Is there any other ways for Wi-fi?
In case you were wondering, my friends don't have the game.

As far as I've heard, there isn't another way. Nintendo shut down the wifi to prevent people using apps like pokecreator to create hacked poke on and send them to their Poke on X. So I don't think they'd leave another way for someone to connect to wifi.
