What exactly does huge power and pure power do?

Question

i mean, is it just like a 2x attack boost or does it double your attack stat so 6x attack boost would be like x12 with huge power? and yes, I know they say huge power doubles your attack but still.. does it mean attack boost or stat boost?

Huge Power and Pure Power both double a Pokémon's Attack Stat.

So for example if you had an Azumarill and it had an Attack Stat of 200, with Huge Power as it's Ability your Attack Stat would be doubled so Azumarill would have a 400 Attack Stat.
