My Pyroar doesn't look like the one in the pokedex--is that normal?

Question

My Litleo just evolved and instead of the full mane, it just has one mullet like flame thing going between its ears and waving in the breeze. Is it because my Litleo is a girl or does the main grow more as she advances? She is a level 35 now.

I really hope the mane grows because the mullet is kind of annoying.

Yes, it is normal. Only male Pyroar get the mane; female Pyroar get the long streak of hair. The hair won't change either, so your Pyroar will always have the streak of hair.
