Why do the Pokemon jump up and down in Super Training?

Sometimes in Super Training, usually after I tap a resting Pokemon, it'll jump up and down. Why is that?

after a Pokemon has rested and you tap it, it will "burst of energy" as the screen says, and jump up and down. while this effect lasts will your Pokemon use shorter time to take down punching bags.
