If I breed a male pangoro with the iron fist ability with a female gurdurr with the ability guts or sheer force is there a chance the male pangoro ability and not hidden ability will be transferred to the egg

Sorry, but it won't work.

The parent's have to be the same species as the offspring for their to be a chance of passing on their abilities. It doesn't matter if the abilities happen to be the same, as in the Pangoro/Gurdurr example you used, but it still won't work.

No, because the father cannot transfer its ability unless breeding with a Ditto, and even then it's a small chance and only in Gen VI.

It's the mother that determines the species and therefore ability of the offspring, because the father could be any compatible Pokemon in the egg group and therefore doesn't need to have an ability the female Pokemon has to breed with it.

E.g. If I bred a male Infernape with a female Conkeldurr, there is no way that it'll transfer any of Infernapes 2 abilities to the Timburr offspring. There's just no way that the male parent can pass abilities when its offspring is not the same as itself.

Also this is none of my business, but Guts is a better ability for Timburr, because if it has Iron Fist & gets burnt, it'll be useless.
