In a Sky Battle in X & Y, if Gengar is made to Mega Evolve, it will lose Levitate. Will Gengar's Mega Evolution be prevented here?
The air battle will still continue. A similar example can be seen when Charizard mega evolves into Mega Charizard X. It loses it Flying type which is what let it enter the air battle. It still went on to battle though.
