Venusaur's name is an offensive nickname?

Question

Due to the censor that prevents Pokémon with offensive nicknames being traded on the GTS, an English language Venusaur cannot be traded on the GTS without a nickname in Generation V.

What does that mean by that? Venusaur's name is an offensive nickname? Please help me! I don't understand a bit!

List of censored words in Pokemon B&W versions

Sau is German for pig/ swine, and therefore censored.
