Will the Masuda Method work here?

Question

My friends and I are from the US but one of them said he was from Egypt on Geonet. The other one registered Afghanistan and I registered Netherlands. Will the Masuda Method work if we lied about the countries?

No, it is based on the language of the Pokémon games. Masuda method would not work like that.
