Unfezant @ Leftovers
Ability: Big Pecks
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Toxic
- Taunt

This set is pretty self-explanatory and makes a great check to grass, bug, ground and ghost types. While Unfezant's bulk is mediocre at best, its move pool is too shallow to pull off an offensive set. Unfezant also has access to other utility moves, such as Tailwind and Defog, however these are hard to fit onto a move set, and there are better Pokemon for the job. Stealth Rocks also hinder Unfezant greatly, as it has switch in to tank physical hits, or set up and pass on Wishes, which can be hard if Unfezant loses 25% of it's health upon switching in. Leftovers are for passive recovery. All three of Unfezant's abilities don't help it at all, however, Big Pecks is still ran to avoid defense drops. Unfezant can pass on Wishes, or heal itself the turn after, by using Protect. Protect can also be used for scouting. Toxic is Unfezant's main way of dealing damage, and prevents Pokemon setting up too much on Unfezant. Toxic is also handy for wearing down bulkier Pokemon. Taunt prevents other Pokemon from placing Unfezant under Taunt first, which is important, as Taunt completely shuts Unfezant down. It also protects Unfezant from status moves, and stops it from becoming set up bait. It also turns Unfezant into an unexpected stall breaker. Although Unfezants speed is already passable, you may want to run some speed EV's for a faster taunt, it depends on which tier you are playing in though.

Honestly this Pokemon is awful. Don't ever use it in a serious battle.

Unfezant (M) @ Choice Specs

Trait: Super Luck

EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef

Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

  • Air Slash
  • Heat Wave
  • U-turn
  • Hidden Power Grass

I know what you're thinking. But Unfezant has a terrible physical move pool. While its special move pool is certainly nothing special it has a slight niche thanks to having access to moves like Air Slash (this Pokemon can't even learn Brave Bird), Heat Wave and Hidden Power Grass, which provide excellent coverage for a flying type. U-turn is for scouting, and a Modest nature is preferred over Timid for a power boost.

Unfezant (F) @ Life Orb

Trait: Super Luck

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 248 Spd

Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

  • U-turn
  • Wish
  • Quick Attack
  • Aerial Ace

You want Big Pecks, be my guest. Cause everybody is trying to lower this guys Defense. Super Luck makes use of the poor hax mechanic on PO, and any move gets a Crit Hit chance boost from Super Luck.

Unfezant (M) @ Power Herb

Role: Attack Boost, Or Attract Boost

Trait: Rivalry

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd

Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

  • Attract
  • Sky Attack
  • Frustration
  • U-turn

Wow, his role was cheesy and lame.
Just like him!

Rivalry + Attract Combo, Meaning he either gets an attack boost, or his opponent has trouble actually hitting him, which is nice.

Jolly for more speed with Attract.

Power Herb + Sky Attack Combo gives a Strong Move to use Once, which 1 turn is about the most you can hope for this thing to live, Frustration because of how annoying Maxing his Happiness on PO is, Although out of PO Return might be a better option.

U-turn for Scouting.

Unfezant (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Super Luck
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swagger
- Psych Up
- Return
- Steel Wing

Isn't this thing NU? Well I'm pretty sure it is. that means steel types are less common.

Well this is pretty much... really risky. at least he has super luck ability to sarcastically reassure you.

swagger your opponent, hope they don't hit you while you psych it up, sweep.

that simple really. a lucky crit from super luck is always nice. PO has tons of hax.

Unfezant (M) @ Leftovers

Trait: Super Luck

  • Wish
  • Protect
  • U-turn
  • Tailwind / Roost / Aerial Ace / Return

I'm surprised no one has tried this:
Unfezant
@Scope Lens
Nature: Jolly (+Spd, -Sp. Atk) / Adamant (+Atk, -Sp. Atk)
Ability: Super Luck
EVs: 252 Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP

Moves:
Night Slash (With all these crit boosts, this move goes up to Stage 4, which is a 1/3 chance of a crit)

Steel Wing (Covers Ice and Rock weaknesses)

U-Turn (Great scouting move)

Quick Attack (Priority) / Hypnosis (Stops foe for a while, but low accuracy) / Fly (it may be an HM, but has 135 with STAB) /Return (Max happiness makes it 102 power, plus STAB)

Nature: Adamant
Item: Toxic Orb
Ability: Super Luck
EVs: / Health 252 / Attack 252 / Speed 4 /

Moveset:

Protect (Lets you get the Toxic Orb off and a combo with Wish)
Facade (For you to sweep)
Wish (To gain health back from the poison)
Tailwind/U-Turn (To let you out-speed the opponents Pokemon and makes you switch when you need to)

You could go Roost instead of Wish but what would you use the protect for? Facade wouldn't do as much damage if you had a Flame Orb on it, so with a Toxic Orb, it would do 140 base attack and with Unfezant's high base attack stat at 115, it can do a lot of damage.

Unfezant for speed suport in single match

Nature: Impish
EV spread: Defense and HP
Ability: Big pecks
Item: Lum Berry

Moveset:
Tailwind
Swagger
Rost
U-turn

--
This setup here is made to open battles in a support role to increase allies speed, is not made for doing direct damage. Unfezant will support his allies with his maim move Tailwind, after using Tailwind you can change places with your other pokémons using U-turn, additionaly before changing place you can confuse the target with Swagger. Rost, big pecks and Lum berry will help you hold on disrupting and buffing.

Unfezant for speed support in double and triple match

Setup 1
Nature: Impish
EV spread: Defense and HP
Ability: Big pecks
Item: Lum berry

Moveset:
Tailwind
Double team
Rost
Aerial ace

--
the setup here is purely for support, you should buffy allies with Tailwind, after that, keep raising your evasiveness, using Rost when necessary to avoid fainting so you can keep buffing your allies from the start to the end of any battles, if any enemie has lowered your your accurary, raised his evasiveness or used taunt against you, you have Aerial ace for that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Setup 2

Nature: Bold
EV spread: Defense and Speed
Ability: Big pecks
Item: Kings rock

Moveset:
Tailwind
Double team
Rost
Air slash

--
The point here is again buffing up your allies speed with Tailwind, after giving them buff you should raise your evasiveness with Double team, using Rost when your Health gets low, so you can keep buffing your allies from the start to the end. In case your evasiveness is already on max, and your allies are already buffed up, you have Air slash to keep supporting them with disruption, made good use of your speed and Tailwind in combination with Air slash and kings rock to land several Air slash's before your oponent make any action, making them flinch often, while your allies take care of the rest.

Critical Hit Abuser:

Unfezant@Scope Lens
Trait: Super Luck
Nature: Jolly (+Speed, -Sp. Attack)
EVs: 252 Speed, 252 Attack, 4 HP
Role: Physical Sweeper

Moves:

  • Sky Attack: It may take 2 turns, but it is really powerful, and with Super Luck + Scope Lens + High Critical-hit-ratio, it has a really go chance of being a critical hit.
  • Steel Wing: Covers Ice and Rock weakness.
  • U-Turn or Roost: U-Turn to switch out, or Roost to heal damage you take.
  • Swagger: Using this before you use Sky Attack could save you some damage. It confuses the target, and raises the opponets attack stat by 2 stages, so they can hit themselfs harder!

Gen 8 ZU

Unfezant @ Scope Lens
Ability: Super Luck
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Night Slash
- Quick Attack
- Work Up

In Gen 8, it got a nice physical STAB flying move in Brave Bird. Night Slash deals with ghost types and has a high critical hit rate. Quick Attack is priority STAB. Work Up is to boost your attack.

Role: Fast Physical Sweeper: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe / (+Spe, SpA)
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Sky Attack
- Night Slash
- Roost
- Steel Wing

Sky Attack has a high critical hit ratio and flinching chance. Super Luck boosts the critical hit along with Night Slash. Power Herb makes it hit in 1 turn. Roost heals 1/2 of his HP up to is max HP. Steel Wing may raise Defense.

Tranquil @ Eviolite
Ability: Big Pecks
EVs: 156 HP / 252 Def / 100 Spe
Impish Nature
- Wish
- U-Turn
- Taunt
- Protect / Detect

Bulkier defensively than Unfezant, allowing it to use more of its utility. You can heal yourself and teammates with Wish, U-Turn, and Detect, while Taunt prevents setups on your lack of immediate threat. Not sure about the speed; if it matters, or if it would be better to be slow.

What format is this meant for? If you don't know, it probably best to dump your speed evs into hp as this set is defensive. Whether that's a good idea varies wildly from format to format.
