Mienshao (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Reversal
- Stone Edge / Quick Guard
- Acrobatics / Quick Guard

1 HP reversal sweeper. Swords Dance first turn, then once your knocked down to your sash, use reversal. Other two moves are coverage, and Quick guard may be used in the place of one of them as a protection against priority.

Mienshao (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Hi Jump Kick

Anti-Fake Out Lead. Fake Out flinches opposing Fake Out Leads, but if they're faster inner focus prevent you from flinching yourself. HJK is STAB, while the other moves are coverage.

Mienshao (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hidden Power [Water]
- Aura Sphere
- Grass Knot
- Swift

Specs Variant. HP water offers great neutral coverage alongside Swift, Grass Knot provide even more coverage, and Aura Sphere is STAB.

Mienshao @ Expert Belt
enter image description here
Mienshao @ Expert Belt
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Hi Jump Kick
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- U-turn
- Toxic

After testing this set in OU on PO I have concluded that it is one of the more deceitful sets this weasel is capable of running. The little trickster is notorious for his powerful Hi Jump Kicks and his U-turns giving him HP back from Regenerator, but most battlers tend not to predict HP Ice, which stops Gliscor and Lando-T in their tracks. The Expert Belt gives him a nice boost when SE and allows him to fake a Choice set like a boss, as people tend to think Choiced when you play it like one early-game and they don't see Fake Out. As if the enemy thinking you were choiced was not enough, the set gives Mienshao one last trick up his sleeve, and that is Toxic. Ghost types are one of the most common switch ins to Mienshao, to take a Hi Jump Kick, dealing 50% recoil damage to our little freind. It just so happens that a majority of ghost types are defensive, so the solution here is to use Toxic whenever you predict a defensive counter coming in, which will usually severely hinder the life span of this counter, allowing Mienshao to come back for vengeance later in the game when the counter has been worn down by Toxic damage.

Role: Chance On Sweepin

Mienshao (M) @ Normal Gem
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 64 Def / 64 SpD / 128 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Force Palm
- SmellingSalt
- Acrobatics
- U-turn

Most gamers just go with that good o'l classic set with this guy, Try something new!

Force Palm has a 30% Chance to paralyze, which is nice with this set, plus 100 accuracy.
Smelling Salt Gets Double Power when your Foe in Paralyzed ( Supported by FP ) And normal Gem makes it pretty much an instant OHKO.
Acrobatics gets boosted power after you ditch that Normal Gem + Smelling Salt combo.
U-Turn Supports Regenerator.

And those Little Ev's in Defense is so its not just an Automatic KO if anything hits him, this way he might not quite die from a not very effective move ^^

Mienshao @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Hi Jump Kick
- Stone Edge
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- U-turn

idc what tier this thing is he will always be my little OU weasel. Mienshao is naturally fast so Scarfing the sucker makes it an ideal revenge killer with U-turn and Regenrator, and it can sweep late-game like no one's business. It is very skilled at taking down frailer Pychic types like Alakazam and the occasional Azelf, while HP Ice takes down things like Dragon types and and the common Gliscor and Landorus-T switch-ins. Stone Edge picks off flying types like Thundurus-T and deals good damage to common Ghost switches, namely Gengar.

Gen 5 UU

Mienshao @ Flying Gem / Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- High Jump Kick
- Acrobatics / Stone Edge
- U-turn

Open with Fake Out if you're not up against a Ghost type. Acrobatics does massive damage with Flying Gem and the no item boost. High Jump Kick is STAB. U-turn helps your team keep momentum, and couples well with Regenerator. Stone Edge is coverage against Flying types, though it's a bit hit-or-miss. Use Flying Gem if you want to go with Acrobatics, but Life Orb if you opt for Stone Edge instead.

Cool, an old gen set with actual effort! Props!
Glad you like it!

UberPwnage (Mienshao) (M) @ Flying Gem
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Hi Jump Kick
- U-turn
- Acrobatics
- Brick Break

  • Hi-Jump Kick: STAB, Extreme Power.
  • U-Turn: Psychic coverage, Regenerator abuse.
  • Acrobatics: If he hold a flying gem, it is "consumed" before the attack, so the power will be 165. After that, you still have a flying type move with a power of 110, with 100% accuracy.
  • Brick Break: STAB, Good Accuracy, Breaks Reflect and Light Screen.

No flying coverage could mean the end of mienshao because a pokemon like scyther could OHKO with aerial ace AND outspeed you. I'd go with a jolly nature and have rock slide instead of brick break to cover that weakness. It could be the difference between a full sweep and a short run.

Probably one of the best Fighting types in any game.

Mienshao @ Flying Gem
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- Hi Jump Kick
- U-turn
- Acrobatics

  • Fake Out: Cheap and annoying damage.
  • U-Turn: Perfect with its ability.
  • Hi Jump Kick: STAB, awsome power, if you miss you can just use U-Turn to recover.
  • Acrobatics:Goes great with Fly Jewl boosting its power to what I think would be 160, but for the rest of the battle it would just be 110.

Mienshao (M) @ Salac Berry / Liechi Berry
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Endure
- Reversal
- Stone Edge
- U-Turn

Endure activates the Salac/Liechi Berry giving a speed/attack boost and makes Reversal super powerful. Reversal is STAB and has a huge base power when at 1% HP. Stone Edge is coverage against flying types. If Mienshao runs in to a foe it can't handle, it can U-Turn out. And guess what? Regenerator restores HP, so he won't be KOed by Stealth Rock and he can come in for another sweep. Adamant nature is for more power, while Jolly gives a speed boost that could mean out speeding and using Endure when it couldn't otherwise.

Mixed Meinshao

Mienshao (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 8 Atk / 248 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature

- High Jump Kick
- U-turn
- Aura Sphere
- Hidden Power [Ice] / Hidden Power [Rock]

Mienshao @ Life Orb / Eject Button / No Item
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 132 HP / 54 Atk / 122 SpA / 200 Spe
Naughty / Adamant / Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Aura Sphere
- Acrobatics / Bounce / Drain Punch
- U-turn

High jump kick: stab, high power

Aura sphere: get physical opponents of guard, STAB, good power, hit physical opponents.

Acrobatics: works great with no items or eject button, other wise use bounce, as both cover bug types, which can wall fighting type moves. Also, it gives extra coverage. An alternative is if you don't want the extra coverage is drain punch, as it adds even more HP recovery, along with good power and stab.

U-turn: makes use of regenerator, covers psychics.

Mienshao
Mienshao @ Focus Sash
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Fake Out / Swords Dance
- Reversal
- Acrobatics
- Knock Off

Am I the only one here with no U-turn? Well... Fake Out is a great option, and Swords Dance and Reversal w/ Focus Sash is how you make a very Sawk-like Mienshao. Knock Off is used for Psychic types in addition and Acrobatics works well after Focus Sash is "consumed."

I think you meant to put Focus Sash instead of Regenerator...
oh... I'll fix dat

"Mien Kampf"
Mienshao @ Focus Sash
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Reversal
- Swords Dance
- Quick Guard
- U-turn

Reversal (Couple with Swords Dance for maximum damage after being brought down to Sash!)
Swords Dance (Powers up Reversal/U-Turn)
Quick Guard (Play mind-games with any priority-wielding foes once you're down to 1 HP via Sash!)
U-Turn (Pivot out of any bad match-ups)

Massive UnderUsed Sweeper:

Mienshao @ Normal Gem
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- Acrobatics
- High Jump Kick
- U-turn

Fake Out (the normal gem will be used in fake out, and so on it will be better than flying gem. use the boosted fake out, than you can just spam some acrobatics).

Acrobatics (as I said before, the fake out will make you lose the normal gem, so you can just spam acrobatics on)

High Jump Kick (MASSIVE POWER, nice accuracy, STAB. of course, it is risky, but you have a great chance of completely wrecking your opponent, and a low chance of missing and crashing).

U-Turn (U-Turn covers psychic weakness, makes you hit and running later, therefore activating regenerator. mienshao is really fast, you don't need to worry with the opponent outspeeding you ((most of the times)). tihs is more for hit and run anyways).

i've saw it on internet and got fascinated. this moveset completely wrecks most of opponent you're fighting!

Role: Physical Sweeper

Mienshao @ Life Orb / Scope Lens
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- High Jump Kick
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Bounce / Drain Punch / Poison Jab

High-Jump Kick: STAB, powerful.
U-Turn: Covers Psychic weakness. Works well with ability, and can restore HP lost from Life Orb and High-Jump Kick
Stone Edge: Covers Flying weakness, and has a really high-critical hit ratio when combined with the scope lens.
Bounce or Drain Punch(gen 5) or Poison Jab(gen 6+): Bounce is powerful, but takes two turns. Drain Punch will cover HP loss from High-Jump Kick/Life Orb without switching out. Poison Jab covers Fairy weakness from gen 6+

My other Moveset sucked lol

Gen 5

Role: Physical Sweeper

Mienshao @ Flying Gem
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- High Jump Kick
- U-turn
- Acrobatics
- Fake Out / Stone Edge

High-Jump Kick: STAB, high and 90% Accuracy. If it does miss, it will do damage to itself.
U-Turn: Works great with ability
Acrobatics: Gets a boost from the Flying Gem, and a boost from not having an item!
Fake Out or Stone Edge: Stone Edge gives coverage, and Fake Out can be useful. I would probably go with Stone Edge.

Gen 8

Role: Physical Sweeper

Mienshao @ Razor Claw
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- High Jump Kick
- U-turn
- Fling
- Acrobatics

High-Jump Kick: STAB, 90% accuracy, but if it misses, it will hurt the user.
U-Turn: Works great with ability
Fling: Throws the Razor Claw at the opponent.
Acrobatics: When there is no held item, it has double BP, so in combo with Fling...

Rather than razor claw, I would give it razor fang. What is "it will but the user"?
I'm not too sure but based on what I heard lgpe is using AVs instead of EVs
Also... Mienshao isn’t in LGPE, and there are no items.
I was thinking of doing the Razor Fang, but it does a lot less damage with Fling, So I was thinking Power > Effect.
Also, that was a typo. It's supposed to say, "It will HURT the user."
Oh. I don't really know much about LGP and LGE.
You could migrate a Mienfoo/Mienshao to LGP or LGE, right? Again, I don't know much about LGP or LGE. Wait, there's no items? So confused...
let's go games only have Kanto Pokemon lol
Oh lol XD

Mienshao

Mienshao @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Hone Claws
- U-turn
- High Jump Kick
- Stone Edge / Blaze Kick

Start off with a Hone Claws. Now HJK is more powerful than Close Combat with no drawbacks, and you have an attack boost. U-Turn might seem a little contradictory, but if you have to switch anyway might as well do some damage. It also activates Regenerator. Stone Edge is coverage for Flying-types and pairs well with Hone Claws, but Blaze Kick is also nice and unexpected. It also benefits from Hone Claws's accuracy boost.

Mienshao @ Expert Belt
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Drain Punch
- Stone Edge
- Swords Dance

First things first, expert belt boosts super effective attacks, which is useful. Regenerator ability and u-turn are very compatible combo. Regenerator heals 1/3 of HP when switched out. U-turn switches out the Pokemon when u-turn deals damage. Drain Punch is a very useful move because not only stab, it is also a good move for getting healed. Stone Edge is for flying coverage, and swords dance is a high boost of attack stat.

Doubles bodyguard

Mienshao

Mienshao @ Focus Band
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Wide Guard
- Quick Guard
- Ally Switch

  • Priority is important for a bodyguard. To preempt your opponent, all moves in this build have either +3 priority (Fake Out, Wide Guard, Quick Guard) or +2 priority (Ally Switch).

  • Speed is also maxed because you still need to outspeed your opponent if they use an equal-priority move. Fortunately, the only truly offensive move with priority +3 or higher is Fake Out. Unfortunately, Fake Out is common in doubles. Moreover, the ally Pokemon that can best benefit from having a bodyguard are particularly sensitive to losing a turn / timing advantage since they typically depend on setup (e.g. Geomancy Xerneas, Trick Room Calyrex-Ice, Dragon Dance Necrozma-Dusk, etc), momentum (e.g. incremental speed control, Beast Boost Pheromosa, Swift Swim Barraskewda, etc), risky HP management (e.g. any Focus Sash build, Endure Cramorant, Salac Berry Kommo-o, etc), and/or surprise (e.g. Air Balloon Regieleki, Final Gambit Victini suicide lead, Storm Drain Gastrodon switch-in, etc). Thus, this bodyguard build is designed to protect its ally from even faster Fake Outs earlier in the game at the cost of extra bulk to survive later in the game. After all, this Mienshao's ally should be powerful enough that their protection early on is more valuable than this bodyguard's survival later on.

  • Inner Focus functions as a fail-safe in case your opponent is still faster and decides to target this Mienshao with a Fake Out. (e.g. they are confident that they can KO your ally before your ally can attack) The more commonly-chosen ability Regenerator is not selected here because this bodyguard build is intended to stay on the field until you win or the bodyguard is KO'd (hopefully saving your ally Pokemon in the process). Besides, this build's defensive capabilities come from actively using its moves, not from pivoting and face-tanking attacks like a wall.

  • Focus Band is for surviving longer (i.e. for bodyguarding longer). The more commonly-chosen Focus Sash is not selected here because it is expected that Mienshao will suffer non-lethal damage before a Focus Sash would become relevant (e.g. from Electroweb/Snarl, G-Max Wildfire passive damage, a turn in which only one opponent was successfully blocked, etc.).

Gen 9 NU Choice Scarf

Mienshao @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Fighting / Dark / Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Stone Edge / Ice Spinner

Mienshao, just like last Gen when it was in Gen 8 NU before getting banned, serves as the best Choice Scarf in Gen 9 NU due to its speed, good attack, and Ability. Close Combat is used for Mienshao's powerful Fighting STAB due to how reliable it is. Knock Off allows Mienshao to remove items from opposing Pokemon, providing utility for its team, and it lets Mienshao hit Psychic- and Ghost-types such as Slowbro, Mew, Brambleghast, Chandelure, and Hisuian Typhlosion super effectively. U-turn lets Mienshao pivot to bring in a teammate and get some HP recovery with Regenerator, which can make it hard for the opponent to pin down Mienshao to get rid of it. Stone Edge lets Mienshao hit Flying-types such Talonflame, Thundurus, and Noivern super effectively without risking the Flame Body burn from Talonflame in particular. Ice Spinner can be used instead to hit Flying-types and have the ability to deal some chip damage onto Vileplume. You can do Triple Axel instead to deal more damage to Vilplume, but do keep in mind you do take more Rocky Helmet chip and risk Effect Spore affecting Mienshao. Tera Fighting lets Mienshao have powerful Close Combats to make Close Combat more dangerous to switch into. Tera Dark lets Mienshao have a Psychic immunity and a stronger Knock Off. Tera Steel is an option as an emergency Tera should you need to revenge kill a +2 Jolly Cloyster that isn't using Drill Run.
