Trait: Sand Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Heavy Slam

Your basic Sandstorm tank. Your SP Def is raised by Sandstorm, so now just focus on defense. After a few Curses, Gigalith will be very hard to take down, plus it will be able to KO with ease along with Sand Force. Earthquake, Stone Edge, and Heavy Slam all have high base power when used by Gigalith, especially after a Sand Force boost. Leftovers is there to heal you.

I can't really get him on dream world becuase it takes way too long, my bro got 3 lickytounges in a row!
I didn't want to risk getting the same pokemon over and over, he nearly got 4 but he turned the fouth down lol.
so, i only have stursy ones, anyone got a good move set for that? no toxic eaither please.

Gigalith @ Custap Berry/Leftovers.

Trait: Sand Force

EVs: 252 HP / 156 Atk / 100 Def

Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

• Stone Edge
• Heavy Slam
• Earthquake
• Explosion/Curse

A beast for sure.
Sand Force can be used when some sort of tyranitar come in or something, but it's highly recommended to use gigalith in sandstorm.
Stone Edge gets a base power 150, if used in sandstorm with sand force ability, 195 POWA: NICE.
Heavy Slam Gigalith is heavy, so this will do a good amount of damage, it's boosted by ability and can get a nice base power of 156, also nice.
Earthquake boosted by ability, a fresh base power of 130.
Explosion and Curse are both good options!
Custap Berry and exlplosion is a nice last resort, a nice surprise!
Curse can be used to boost Gigalith's stats.

Why does he set up his own sand? Let's see.

1. Jacks up special defense
2. Slowly kills opponents
3. Increases power of all of his attacks

so with that in mind, here's the set.

Sandstorm sets things up. Sand force gives him extra power to all three of his attacks and.... he makes magic. gotta love this rock type.

Massive attack at 607, 374 HP, and 296 Defense. It's got a Special Achilles, but it's Sturdy, so If you need to, that's why I put Explosion here. (It's not going to live another hit anyway cause it has 86 Speed, so why not die?) Stone Edge is STAB. Earthquake and SuperPower are coverage.

Here's My Gigalith, with some awesome sacrificing strategy combo:

Adamant Nature
Abilty: Sturdy
Item: Custap Berry

EVs: 252 Atk 252 HP 4 Def

-Stone Edge STAB
-Earthquake Coverage, compliments with Stone Edge as the Edgequake Combo
-Explosion The Final Kaboom when down to just (25%) or even 1 HP for sweet revenge when Custap Berry is Used
-Curse Boosts Atk. & Def at the expense of Speed

Okay, so this set is the bomb, literally, So you have Stone Edge and Earthquake, practically the best Combo to beat a lot of different types, and you have Curse to boost your Attack and Defense, and let's not forget, Explosion, the Revenge Kill that can actually work by using Custap Berry which lets Gigalith move (regardless of Speed), so it can take down an opponent to make the item worth using as a great sacrificing strategy.

Personally, I'd take Stealth Rock over Curse. Once Custap-boosted Explosion is used, the Curse boosts go away. Stealth Rock would likely stay in play for quite a while.

Gigalith Is a heavily underrated Pokemon in my opinion because with okay HP, good sp. defence for a rock type, and monstrous physical stats, this thing should be in UU. If you know how to use it, it could wreck the OU tier to shreds. Its just really hard to use. That's because with the prevalence of super-powered Pokemon inOU, this thing has a had time, as its a modest Pokemon.

Gigalith@assult vest( turns 80 sp. defence into 120, although this set is used for offence because of assult vest's drawback of being only able to attack ) or leftovers or smooth rock( for sandstorm )

Evs: 252 hp, 100 sp. defence, 158 attack or 252 Hp/252 sp. def./4def.

Ability: sand force

Nature: calm

Explosion: just to rage your opponent after the manage to almost kill it. Also good for blowing up Megas and blasting anything to bits.

Sandstorm/ rock slide : sandstorm if your not using assult vest, goes good with sand force. Rock slide has good power and works great with STAB and gigalith's high attack.

Stone edge/bulldoze: bulldoze slows down the opponent and gives extra coverage. Can be replaced with earthquake if you want more power. Stone edge is for getting TONs of damage from STAB, base power, and gigalith's good attack.

Stealth rock/gravity/iron head: the first two are support against flying types for your team, along with fire and bug and ice in the case of stealth rock. Iron head is for coverage.

Hidden Power (Ice) - Coverage over Ground and Grass
Stealth Rock - As an immediate setup

Gigalith has 60 Base Sp. Atk, so with 252 Sp. Atk EV’s and a Sp. Atk raising nature it can stand up for itself pretty well. I run this in doubles, it easily surprises opponents. I run it with Tailwind Kartana to give it some at least average speed, it partners well with Ttar, Landorus T and Gastrodon pretty well in a sandstorm team.

(Analysis: Meant to be the 1st 'Mon you send out. EVs are for bulk & power; Stealth Rock first, then Gravity, then Lock-On, then Explosion. Normal Gem makes this move an almost guaranteed OHKO. & if you're wondering, no. Normal Gem is not illegal on Showdown. If the opponent has a Focus Sash or Sturdy, Sand Stream will take care of it. If the opponent is immune to Sandstorm, you could send out a 'Mon with a priority move. I recommend Bullet Punch. Lock-On is for 'Mons who raise their Evasiveness, & Gravity is just extra support. Feedback is appreciated.)

This set is probably a weird set, but can be useful for taking out SubToxic Salazzle. (and the soon to be NU Entei and Glastrier) Rock Blast is STAB that can hit multiple times, meaning it can break substitutes. Earthquake is for coverage. Rest is for healing and allows you to shrug off status conditions like burns and poisoning. Sleep Talk is so you won't be vulnerable while you're asleep.

Sand setter. Rock Slide is STAB that hits both Pokemon. Wide Guard is to protect your teammates from moves like Muddy Water, Earthquake, etc. Stealth Rock is to chip opposing Pokemon switching in. Heavy Slam is for coverage. Stomping Tantrum can be used instead for for a version of the EdgeQuake combo.

Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Superpower / Heavy Slam
- Rock Blast / Stone Edge
- Toxic / Explosion

A specially defensive set. Stealth Rock is for setting up a hazard that can provide chip damage along with Sandstorm damage. Rock Blast is Gigalith's STAB, as it can hit multiple times, which can allow you to check Substitute + Toxic Salazzle. Stone Edge can be used for a higher STAB move. Superpower provides useful coverage and is chosen over Earthquake because Superpower allows you to better check Copperajah and Exploud. Heavy Slam is an alternative if your team is super weak to Sylveon, but it doesn't do that much damage to you. Toxic is to poison Pokemon. Explosion is used if you use this set on Sand HO. Leftovers is the item if you're not using Sand HO, whereas Smooth Rock is used if you use Sand HO. The Defense EVS allow you to avoid the OHKO of Choice Band Tyrantrum's Close Combat and Copperajah's Heavy Slam. The rest of the EVs are dumped into Special Defense.

Teammates

Gigalith appreciates fighting type checks, so Pokemon like Xatu and Dragalge are appreciated. Gigalith also enjoys water type checks like Rotom-Mow and Vileplume. If you use this set on Sand HO, Sandslash and Lycanroc (Day Form) are mandatory partners as they are the only viable sand abusers in NU.

This is why you have sturdy and custap berry.

Role: Hazard Setter and an attacker.

Sturdy unfortunately doesn't allow you to survive Explosion, so Custap Berry's effect won't activate.

@Justatypicalperson you would use a move like Stealth Rock first, and should you survive with Sturdy, you can get off a Custap Berry Explosion to prevent a turn of Defog or Rapid Spin. That's how I see how the set uses Explosion and Custap Berry.
