What does the ability Chatter/Self-Conscious do?

It's called Chatter on some sites and Self-Conscious on others. Serebii says, "There are types you are self-conscious around of and raise your speed."

Anyone have any more details? Are "self-conscious" types just the ones that will be super-effective to you?

It could be for the same type. animals of the same species are always competing for leader after all.

The real name for the ability is Rattled . It raises speed when hit by a dark, ghost or bug move.

It's probably the best guess that it is activated when you're up against types the pokemon is weak to. However, I haven't found any information confirming it. We'll probably figure out soon, when the dream world component starts to get used.
