As of Gen 8, The type with the least Pokemon would be Ice with a total of 58 Pokemon. An honorable mention would be Fairy, with a total of 65 Pokemon.
The most amount of Pokemon would be Water with a total of 159 Pokemon. A close second would be Normal, with 130 Pokemon.

Actually Ice has the least with 32 Pokémon and Water type with 126 Pokémon . Ghost has 45 Pokémon even Including the leaks ice will only go up to 36 if you count alolan forms .
