Is there a special ability that doesn't allow a Pokemon to switch/escape from a battle even if it uses Roar?

i've heard about a special ability that doesn't allow a Pokemon to switch/escape from a battle ever if it use Roar.
please tell me if there a ability like that and what's the name of it.

Just as a side note, the Pokemon that is trapped can still use a move like U-Turn or Volt Switch (unless the Pokemon is immune to electric moves, such as Trapinch/ Dugtrio) which returns to trapped Pokemon back to the Pokeball, or use a move such as Dragon Tail, Whirlwind or Roar to force the Arena Trap/ Shadow Tag Pokemon to switch to another.

The abilities you mean are called Arena Trap and Shadow Tag though they work differently then you described. The opponent can still escape using Baton Pass and if they are forced out of the battle.

They are called Arena Trap and Shadow Tag.
