- Earthquake
- Ice Punch

Finally one with the full coverage... I was getting worried.
switch wild charge for thunderpunch?
i would put leftovers as item or change wild charge to thunder punch because of recoil and damage from life orb
imo this would be a way better set if used for a water switch-in, and also adamant nature

Odd, nobody tried a SubPunch set...

Electivire (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Thunder Punch
- Ice Punch
- Substitute
- Focus Punch

Leftovers provides recovery. Vital Spirit prevents Electivire from sleeping on the job. Thunder Punch and Ice Punch have good coverage together. EVs give it some Speed and Attack. Substitute makes the set work. Focus Punch kills everything in its path.

first moveset that isn't the same as the ones above!
i never thought of this and he's my second favorite pokemon!
i would vote but I've not enough points :( also wouldn't the substitute instantly break? because of his defences?
I agree with the SubPunch set, but my Electivire is to support my Zekrom

Apparently I haven't answered this yet. Shame on me. This is the Electivire I'm using at the moment, and it works wonderfully.

If you know me at all, you know this is for VGC

Electivire
Citron (Electivire) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Motor Drive
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Wild Charge
- Low Kick
- Ice Punch
- Rock Slide

This is my Electivire. The item, in my opinion, was the most difficult part of Electivire. I tried Choice Scarf at first, but I soon found that I needed both Ice Punch and Rock Slide to handle the opposing team, so I tried Lum Berry. It works like a charm, stopping Will-O-Wisp, Scald burns, and Swagger shenanigans. Motor Drive is a good ability when not running Choice Scarf, letting him absorb Thunder Wave and combat Discharge teams. Jolly and a 252/252/4 spread ensures maximum speed.

Wild Charge is STAB, used to hit Suicune, Milotic, and Politoed. Ice Punch nails Landorus, Thundurus, and Salamence. Low Kick deals with Heatran, Hydreigon, Bisharp, and a weakened Kangaskhan. Finally, Rock Slide picks up nice flinches and checks Talonflame and Charizard.

Electivire needs a lot of support. He really loves speed control like Thunder Wave and Tailwind. Also, he likes partners who either discourage Intimidators or check them outright. Wide Guard is also useful to let him avoid Earthquake.

(Doubles)

Electivire (M) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Wild Charge / Thunder Punch
- Ice Punch
- Cross Chop / Power-Up Punch / Fire Punch
- Stomping Tantrum

Moves:

As said on the top in case you missed it this is DOUBLES which is why we have Stomping Tantrum instead of Earthquake. If you want to use Earthquake bring in a Flying Type or a Levitate User. WIld Charge or Thunder Punch for STAB, Ice Punch for coverage, Cross Chop for Rock, Steel, Ice, Normal, and Dark, Power-Up Punch for the same coverage as Cross Chop but lower damage and the attack boost, or Fire Punch For Grass, Steel, Ice, and Bug, Personally, I'm a Fire Punch kind of guy but it's your choice. And Stomping Tantrum Is for other Electric Types.

Strategy:

Depending on whether or not the opposing team pulls out a ground type your teammate, If they can learn it, should use Volt Switch or Discharge to boost Electivires's speed. Then he can hit them with a nice, cold, super-effective ICE PUNCH TO THE FACE! and then hit everything else like a truck! Right now I've been using a Rotom-Frost with Discharge as a partner to boost his speed and let him start sweeping.

Warning! Don't use the Cell Battery on Electivire. because of Motor Drive being an ability, as well as some game mechanics, the speed boost from Motor Drive will cancel out the attack boost from the Cell Battery.

I think a scarf set would work okay. But man, it's pretty hard to think of another effective set.

Electivire @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Thunder Punch / Wild Charge
- Ice Punch
- Cross Chop / Brick Break
- Fire Punch / Earthquake

Thunder Punch or Wild Charge is STAB. Ice Punch covers Ground, Grass, and Dragon. Everything else is just for coverage.

Electivire @ Air Balloon / Focus Sash
Ability: Motor Drive

You do know that Electro ball is a special attack right?

Mixed.
Electivire
Electrivire @ Life Orb / Expert Belt
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 152 Atk / 106 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature / Naive Nature
- Thunderbolt / Wild Charge
- Ice Punch
- Flamethrower / Earthquake / Hidden Power [Grass]
- Cross Chop / Focus Blast / Psychic

People often forget that electivire can go mixed, as he has a very usable special attack stat and a tremendous movepool to back it. The psuedo BoltBeam combo is an automatic entry. The final two moveslots are for two of his many coverage moves. The fighting type moves just provide good coverage in general. Flamethrower is good for steel types, while earthquake does that while also hitting opposing electric types. Hp grass is for the ground types neutral to ice punch. Psychic is for the commonly used fighting types. There are many more viable move options in addition to these. Have fun

Gen 6

Role: Physical Sweeper

Electivire @ Muscle Band / Leftovers

- Power-Up Punch / Cross Chop / Brick Break
- Earthquake

Electivire @ Expert Belt
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Thunder Punch
- Brick Break
- Fire Punch / Ice Punch

Earthquake-Powerful coverage, hits multiple foes

Thunder Punch- Powerful, STAB, no recoil damage unlike Wild Charge

Brick Break- Another good solid coverage move, breaks down any walls set up by foes (risks)

Fire Punch/Ice Punch- Either one for another good coverage, Expert Belt helps boost Super Effective hits

This set makes use of the extremely high base Attack of 123, decent Speed and HP, and an Expert Belt helps ensure the Super Effective moves get an added boost. Probably not a sweeper yet has the ability to reduce the need to predict that first sent out Pokemon.

Electrivire is not the strongest or the fastest, but he is good with all kinds of the Shenanigan's eg. Screens, trick room, stealth rock. ect
Electrivire synergises well with them all. Electrivire's main asset is his (Versatility) that he brings to any and every team. V-Good in a 3v3 format

Movepool/Substitute,EQ,Thunder,Focus Blast,Irontail,Rock Tomb,Psychic,Rock Slide,V-switch
ThunderPunch,Quick Attack,Low kick
Para-Flinch-T-wave or Discharge, Rolling Kick
Avoid less useful Moves- Wild Charge, Fire Punch, Hammer Arm, Thunderbolt, T-wave
Because there often detrimental in comparison to having the other move's
Live outrage and non-stab EQ's. 1 or 2 hit KO all kinds of main threats
Light screen is a good option to get a Motor Drive from a volt switch Rotom-W
Outspeed a Jolly Gyarados. 4 SpA for 87% 1 hit ko Scizor. HP/Def makes a 50% 1 hit ko from choice band flare blitz Talonflame lvl 50.

Electivire @ Muscle Band / Cell Battery
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Thunder Punch
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake / Meditate
- Magnet Rise

-Thunder Punch, STAB
-Ice Punch, for Ground types
-Earthquake/Meditate, Earthquake for coverage, Meditate for Attack setup
-Magnet Rise, cover Ground weakness for a couple turns

Muscle Band boosts all of his attacks by 10%

Cell Battery is only viable against Pokemon with Mold Breaker when his ability is Motor Drive, will get an Attack boost instead of Speed boost, also viable if you’d prefer to use Vital Spirit ability

I'm not sure if the cell battery works like that if you have an immunity. Fun gimmik though
You were right, Motor Drive activates first so Cell Battery would have no effect, edited answer
