Why only Giratina can hold Griseous orb ?

Why?its really weird !is so heavy or something ?:-P

I'm pretty sure the griseous orb will cause problems if traded to DP. So the game designers thought this restriction would help prevent people from trading it to DP.

Because it is a Hold Item exclusive to Giratina, to allow it to change into its Origin Forme.

and did you know that while Giratina holds the Griseous orb , it cannot be knocked out of Giratina's possession by Thief , Knock off etc.

Actually other Pokemon can hold it. It just doesn't do anything. I gave it to one of my Pokemon in Black and traded in to Black 2.
