I think they’re cool, if it won NBT I’d say it’s good for the thread. The sets look pretty cool to me, mixed sets are pretty neat.

There's no harm in learning a new format, as the knowledge of one tier is somewhat transferrable to other, so even if you main slam tiers doesn't mean you can't play or learn about OU, AG, Ubers or even OM formats, etc.
As for viable archetypes, I don't play Nat Dex AG much often now so I don't know about the good stuff, but you should probably take a look at the Nat Dex AG matches in the ongoing NDPL (Nat Dex Premier League). As for Gen 8 AG, some good archetypes are:
Calyrex-Shadow + Something that Yveltal dislikes, like DD Zygarde-C, Zacian-C, etc.
Phy Def / SpD Ferrothorn + Expert Belt / Metronome Eternatus
This is probably the heatest defensive core. Eternatus is a good Ho-Oh switchin, something that Ferrothorn hates. Ferrothorn deals with NDM, Zekrom with ease which can trouble Eternatus. These two are probably the easiest ones to build around, you can try building around some more stuff as you learn about the meta more :)

Nothing to say you can't, though it's maybe not a great answer to a question asking for a "good" moveset.
