Why did you teach extrasensory to Oranguru when you could have used psychic? Why did you have Blacephalon use psychic against KRLW's Dragonite when shadow ball would have been stronger? Why did you have Zeraora use a bunch of random stuff against my Zapdos when plasma fists would have been stronger?

Babies hear frequencies mostly the same as we do, but respond differently to some. Actually, babies respond more the noises that were made before their birth. They can hear in the womb, and even recognize their mother's voice the moment they are born.
(babies aren't my expertise though because I really hate them)

The Lavender Town thing, however, was a creepypasta -- a scary story that somebody made up and that circulated the internet. Nothing like that has actually ever happened...

Random animal facts for you (since you seemed to have wanted more):
-Scorpions and most species of sharks are ovoviviparous, which means they produce eggs but don't lay them; instead the eggs stay inside of the mother and hatch there, then are birthed live.
-The circulatory systems of insects and arachnids are not connected to their respiratory systems, they don't use their blood to transfer oxygen throughout their body. For this reason, they have no hemoglobin in their blood (what we use to transfer oxygen). This is why bug "blood", called hemolymph, isn't red. It contains more water than our blood does, so it is usually clear with green or yellow pigments. Spider's typically have blue hemolymph because instead of iron, like in our blood, it contains copper.
-Rats have very efficient livers and can consume small quantities of anything without harm. It is so hard to poison rats because they eat a little of the poison, feel yucky, process the poison out of their systems, and then never eat it again. Rats also are almost always making noises too high-pitched for us to hear. With an amplifier used to detect bat sounds, you can hear rats laughing when you tickle them.

Enjoy
