Good morning! Guess who we forgot about in the FF? JACK i mean Magnus is wearing him as a pendant and if Alex can still transform shouldn’t jack work? Maybe he can appear in ch5? Someone could say something like “oh Jack you are awakeit’s miracle he was quiet this long.” Not sure how i forgot him up til now,,. XD

We learn a lot about a lot.
As we headed to Hau’Oil City Sam finally addressed the Donphan in the room. “So Airika, Casey where exactly are we and what exactly are Rsmerelda, Skye and wr Polteageist?” I rolled my eyes at her “i told you were in Alola, on Melemele island and duh they’re Pokemon” she then asked “what’s a Pokemon?” I tried not to snort rudely, i failed, “are you kidding?” Casey, from behind me said “i don’t think she is don’t forget they did fall out of the sky.” I wanted to point out that Ultra Beasts do that all the time but decided to humor them instead. As i called Skye back to us i halted just outside of the city. “Okay folks let’s talk pokemon.” I plopped unceremoniously on the grooved and everyone followed suit. Then Casey said “waut how will Hearth understand he can’t hear, right?” Bltz answered her “we’ll interpret don’t worry.” Casey shrugged and i began. “Okay so Alola is one of 8 major regions in our world, the Pokemon world. Every region has Creatures called Pokemon, they fly in the sjy, walk and crawl and scuttle on land, swim in the sea...” sam interrupted me “so they’re animals?” I looked at Casey, heck if i knew, Casey nodded at me to go on. I said “yeah sure...animals...anyway theres nearly 1,000 different species.” Casey corrected me “more like 800.” I frowned “close enough. As i was about to say these 800 or so Pokemon are all unique they’re even divided into types, like Water, Fire and Grass. “ this time Alex asked “so they’re like part of the natural l elements?” I thought about that question but Casey answered her. “Most are though if you ask me, Psychic, Ghost, Dragon and Fairy are more supernatural than natural.” Alex gave us a skeptical look “Fairy like Tinkerbell?” I asked “who’s Tinkerbell,” even Magnus look surprised at her like “you know who Tinkerbell is?” Hearth signed and Bltz said “he asked if Fairy-Types are small and sparkly.” Casey seemed to like that discretion as she nodded vigorously at Hearth. I waited for everyone to stop side commentary and went on “okay now you know basic stuff so i’ll explain battles and gyms and trials.” Casey cleared her throat delicately. “Um Airika? Can i tell them about that part?” Since Casey was generally to shy to talk a lot i made a “go on” motion to her. She dove tight in. “Okay! Every region, except Alola, has what we call Gyms 8 per region in most cases. Oh and the people who take on the Gums are called Gym Challengers, every Gym has a Gym Leader-“ Alex put up her hands defensively as she cut off Casey saying “woah slow down just a sec, are you two Gum Challengers? Or Gym Headers?” Casey seemed surprised to be cut off, normally when Casey Senter talked you didn’t stop her because it was so rare tp hear her talk a lot at once. I answered “nope were Trial-Goers which i’m sure Casey was about to say? I half asked, hoping Casey would go on but she remained quiet. “Er” i stammered then began where Casey had left off. “Okay so now you know that most regions have about 8 Gyms right? So what a Gym us, a Pokemon Gym i mean, is a place where Gum-Challengers test their skills in battle against that Gum’s Leader. You following still?” Sam nodded Magnus looked startled (someone wasn’t paying attention) bltz looked like he was trying realty hard to keep up, a task made doubly hard when he was trying to mage sure Hearth was keeping up. As for Alex she-he? Huh, looked like he was following but would eat-whether be doing. Finally i just continued, glaring at Magnus who seemed to blush in embarrassment. “Okay good. Now here in Alola we have Trials and Grand Trials, they’re similar to Gyms but they not only test strength but compatibility as well. Where a gym battle is simply “you win the fight you win the badge” a trial is more “complete this task with your Pokemon then win a battle succeed at both you get a Z-Crystal.” Er i oughta explain badges and Z-Crystals...” i tailed off, here i’d always thought Pokemon was pretty straightforward but it wasn’t and i hadn’t even gotten to wild pokemon. Casey spoke up suddenly, looking at Alex. “Hey i thought you were a gurl but now you seem...don’t yes I understanD but now i think you’re a boy.” Alex looked both surprised and confused. She-he said “you noticed that?” Casey and i nodded i’d thought i was crazy but apparently i wasn’t the only crazy one. Alex looked at his friends and then back to Casey and i. He said “okay you explained some stuff our turn. You see i’m genderfluid that means i’m both make and female just depends on the day i usualky identify as female though but there are very male days too.” I said “you’re like a Ditto then? They’re always changing their appearance...oh but your appearance didn’t physically change. So uhh. I sear i herd Casey snort at me but Alex just asked “well that Depends what’s a Ditto?” I happily pulled out my pokedex and showed him. He said “first that’s a cool device and Second...yeah i guess i’m a Ditto.” Then Casey asked “but your appearance did change once into that Mightyena thing..” for a moment Alex looked confused then she asked “you mean when i nerve changed into a wolf?” I asked “um a what?” Magnus shivered “a wolf a big dog that i really really hate.” I flipped through my pokedex but Didn’t find the picture i wanted. Then Casey held up her Pokedex and showed a Mightyena. As though he thought the picture was real Magnus sprang backwards locking into Sam. I looked at him slightly worried “jeez it’s just a puncture Mag.” He glared at me “my name isn’t Mag.” He said. Alex stage whispered “he loves being called Bean Town.” I grinned and Magnus buried his face behind his hands. “Don’t you dare.” He moaned i burst into hysteria and so did Skye. Skye and i tumbled into a heal of limbs and rolled. This made Casey laugh too. Magnus said to Alex “you’re the worst” though he was grinning so i don’t think he was serious. Sam asked suddenly. “Hey Casey? how is it that you and Airika have Pokemon? How do you get them?” That shut me up quick and as serious as i’d ever been said “the legit way is to catch them in the wild after you’ve battled ‘em or a professor or researcher gibes you one, you can trade too but there are poachers and evil doers who steal them or try anyway.” Sam asked “so you just throw a net over them, and why do you call your Pokemon by human names? I mean are those just their species?” Casey answered “no nets unless your poaching or just being mean. We use Poke Balks” to emphasize she shook one of her own Poke Balls. “There are a lot of different kinds of Poke Balks but that’s in material.” I piped in “as for names no Skye and Esmerelda are not there species, they’re nicknames Skye is a Beeheeyem, a psychic type and Esmerelda is a Salamence a Dragon/Flying type. Bltz said “i hope there isn’t too much more explaining i can’t sign that fast. I blushed a little chagrined. “Oops sorry Bltz and Hearth.” I said. Casey looked around us then said “i think we covered everything or enough for now c’mon ket’s head to the city.
