Wall for -RisingManectric- (page 117)

Dang, that's quite a bit. I'm sorry. Good luck getting it back!

Nope, I just play OU this gen. But I do know some bits and pieces from reading, and I used some of these Pokemon in past gen formats. So I might be able to help... but take this with a massive grain of salt.
* I'm not sure Flygon is frail enough to warrant Focus Sash. I'd go with Life Orb since Flygon looks like your main plan for late-game.
* I see why you want Defog/Magic Bounce on this team, but less so with Tailwind. I would use Roost on Xatu instead. (Though I had a flick through some stats, and it seems Xatu is used mainly for Trick Room. A different defogger might be better.)
* Bisharp is a rare case where the consensus is Black Glasses is better than Life Orb, since Bisharp has some defensive merit and it's already quite powerful. Though if you've run some numbers and found Life Orb hits some important benchmarks, you should keep it.
* Offence teams generally need speed control and a reliable way to set hazards. I'd look into Terrakion or Krookodile as an offensive SR user, and something like Noivern or a Scarf user for speed. Sucker Punch might be enough though.
* I don't know enough about UU to tell if the selection of breakers + sweepers synergise. The sets otherwise look pretty standard.

Re RMT votes: The best teams (and high-effort posts) get votes there. Ultimately it's subject to what different people want to vote.

Re building around a Pokemon: I recommend building teams around a win condition or offensive core, e.g. a certain sweeper or combination of wallbreakers. Building around defensive Pokemon feels 'back to front' to me, since they don't really govern how you play the team. From there, just pick Pokemon that synergise offensively (e.g. take out enemy walls for each other) and defensively (e.g. offer switch-ins for common counters). Reading stats and guides on Smogon can help you know what you need to cover, and how you might go about it. Prioritise offensive synergy on offence teams, defensive synergy on stall, both on balance, etc.

Flapple isn't very good at tanking a Defensive Aromatisse Moonblast, so I'm not going to bother, as that would greatly hinder its sweeping capabilities if I started sacrificing Attack for Special Defense.

252 SpA Charizard Fire Blast vs. 80 HP / 0 SpD Flapple: 240-283 (79.7 - 94%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

+1 252+ Atk Hustle Flapple Dragon Rush vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Charizard: 441-519 (148.4 - 174.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

gotta be careful 'bout the accuracy tho

0 SpA Clefairy Moonblast vs. 80 HP / 0 SpD Flapple: 204-242 (67.7 - 80.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

+2 252+ Atk Hustle Flapple Grav Apple (80 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Clefairy: 280-331 (81.3 - 96.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

so close but you outspeed anyway

0 Atk Garbodor Gunk Shot vs. 80 HP / 0 Def Flapple: 300-354 (99.6 - 117.6%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO

+2 252+ Atk Hustle Flapple Dragon Rush vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Garbodor: 561-660 (154.1 - 181.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

pray you get two D-Dances and hit the god damn Dragon Rush

Flapple @ Blunder Policy
