There's really no reason to block someone unless they're constantly a huge annoyance. In that case, a ban is probably necessary, if it's bad enough.
I understand I was just curious

No. Perhaps this feature will be implemented in the future, but for now you should change your question to "Suggestion: Be able to block users?" Maybe if enough people upvote this PM will see it and add it in the future. Nobody knows for sure. ATM, you must just try your best to ignore whoever you want to block (me, I'm assuming.) If you want to ask PM to add this, you should describe a few reasons why you think this should be a feature. (Ex. avoid subconcious downvote spamming, general hostility, disagreement between users, etc.)

Honestly I didn't want to block any one will accept a year ago when I was trying to block swunm I think that's how you spell his name because every time I said something he found something wrong with it and this is actually been a question of mine for a long time
Well, that brings up the question of how wide the block spans. Even if you block someone, I don't think you'd want to not be shown, say, an answer to your question if that person answers it. The only reason why I could see someone wanting to block another person from even answering one of their questions would be if the offender is spamming and/or annoying them by answering/commenting, in which case a ban is probably more appropriate. Or at the very least, a downvote.

With that in mind, the only application for the block option would be on the wall and in the chat room, which can be solved by disabling wall posts and just not visiting the chat room (not like it's all that active, anyway). Yeah, it's a less-than-ideal "all or nothing" situation, but until PM adds a better feature (assuming it ever happens), we at least have something.
