I think it's because it has a lot of views. And a lot especially for a fairly recent question. The "formula" for calculating hotness takes into account:
- how old the question is
- how recently it was last updated
- how many votes it has
- how many answers it has
- how many views it has
They each have a different weight, and views is already very low. I lowered it a bit more and the list seems a bit better now.
