How to get a female Eevee without trading/breeding?

When you're about to pick your starter, if you save before you pick it, then you can continuously restart to get a female one. Can you do that with the Eevee? If you can, where and when should you save to keep it from ensuring what gender it is?

What game are you talking about? If your talking about bebe in Platinum, then you can get a male or female if you save with your inventory with a space in it, before you talk to her. In pearl or diamond though, you can find it in the trophy garden after talking to mr backlot occasionally. This is also applicable in castillia city in B/W save before you receive the gift.
