Why does my porygon2's ability not work as it should?

Question

So on PO, I have a porygon2 on my team, and it has the ability download. I have set his defenses so that his spatk should be raised upon switching in, but sometimes it raises his attack instead of his special attack, what is wrong here, and how do I fix it?
