Pokemon platinum problem - "saved data could not be accessed"?

Question

When I touch the icon to play Pokemon Platinum on my DS it goes to a blue screen that says, "The saved data could not be accessed, Please turn the power off and reinsert the ds game card"

I've tried like 15 times, not working.

This happened (sorta) on my Diamond as well. (Only once though) It did this and I just did what it said and my game worked the next time.

This happens to a lot of times try taking out the game then putting back but this time try taking it all to the bottom and wait for it to bounce back up.

Pretty sure you mistreated the game card. e.g:it fell.

Try taking out the game card and blowing into the ds slot and on the exposed chip of the game card to try to clear away any dust or foreign materials and see if that works... If that doesnt work your gamecard may be broken.
