What is the best way to "abuse" the ability prankster?

I like Whimsicott, so I want to know how to use its ability well.

Prankster is an ability which is, in my opinion, really awesome. It increases the priority of non-damaging moves such as Will-O-Wisp, Reflect and such by 1. However, this does not allow the moves to be blocked by the attack Quick Guard. Though moves that have more than a +1 Priority, such as ExtremeSpeed, will still move first. In fact, in my opinion, Volbeat is the best Pokemon on who you can have Prankster. Why? Volbeat was cursed with terrible Stats, a type weak to the most common types, an unusable movepool and pretty bad Abilities. With Prankster, Volbeat is now one of the greatest Special Attack Passers of ALL TIME because of moves such as Tail Glow and Baton Pass.

Here is my moveset for a Baton Pass Volbeat:

Use a bunch of status moves on it. Moves like Leech Seed, Taunt, Tailwind, and Substitute work nicely on it. Taunt stops other Pokemon from Taunting you, and stops setups. Leech Seeds saps the opponent's HP, Tailwind allows for some outspeeding, and Substitute is to have the Sub Seed combo.
