PokéRus confusion?

Question

I though that PokéRus's effect lasts only until cured, but Bulbapedia says, that even curing it doesn't make effect wear off. So, what's final and right answer?

The effects of Pokerus stay with your Pokemon even after it's cured. The downside of being cured, though, is that you can no longer spread Pokerus to other Pokemon.

Always keep a few infected Pokemon in your PC, in case you want to spread the virus in the future.
