If i switch out and switch in, will Unburden's Speed Boost will be there??

Question

Lets say i have Hitmonlee out. It knows Fake Out & is holding a Normal Gem.

Hitmonlee uses Fake Out on opponent, using his Normal Gem in the process & doubling his Speed.

I recall Hitmonlee and send him back out X amount of turns later.
___
Will his Speed still be doubled or return back to normal??

It will be treated just like any other stat boost not being baton passed out so it would dissapear.
