Mienshao or Lucario?

Question

I've spent a while training up a lucario but I think I would get better sweeping potential with Mienshao. My Lucario is EV trained in Speed and Sp. Atk.

Lucario's moveset:

-Dark Pulse
-Psychic
-Protect
-Aura Sphere

My thought is that Mienshao would be better due to speed, but would the extra effort be worth it? It took about 2 hours, probably more, to train Lucario.

If you switch protect for nasty plot then it would be a massive sweeper. (also give it a focus sash/life orb)

Mienshao has higher attack (125 to 110) and higher speed (105 to 90). Mienshao has 2 weaknesses, while Lucario has 3.

Lucario does beat Mienshao at one thing: Lucario can be an awesome MIXED attacker.

I guess you are right. Since he is using Close Combat, Defenses don't matter.  Thanks for making me think about it.

Lucario also has a Priority which Meinshao does not have (aside from fake-out). Lucario also has a wider movepool. And Lucario is more Epic. :)

Definitely Mienshao. I just went and DESTROYED the Elite Four (@ Level 69) and was surprised at how easily it was done with him. Lucario probably isn't the best choice for my team anyway, that would make 3 Fighting types if I kept him and Mienshao.

It is an amazing Pokemon and totally sweeps unprepared teams!

adamant would be that nature not jolly. jolly is -spatt +speed but jolly is good for it too. i always get jolly for oshawatt which i hate!!!>.<!!!
