I have heard that their is a place in Blackthorn gym where you can get infinite steps (walking into wall question) and I am desperate to find it because my Swinub needs to level up in the daycare FAST before I can challenge the Elite 4 (and lose).
Use the Ecruteak gym instead. Go to the gym entrance and weigh down your Up arrow, you will run forward and the fall of the path, you will be returned to the beginning of the gym. You can continue this indefinitely.
