Grumpig @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Psychic / Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast

Calm Mind raises Special stats, making it dish out more damage and take special hits better.
Psychic is STAB. Psyshock can be used to hit special walls harder, but Psychic is generally better unless you're after a specific target.
Shadow Ball complements both moves nicely and hits Ghosts and Psychics.
Focus Blast rounds out the coverage hitting Dark, Steel and Normal types, mainly.
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD is an option if you want to have physical bulk, but it generally sucks because the lack of recovery outside Lefties.

Gen 6 PU

Grumpig @ Life Orb
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 40 HP / 216 SpA / 252 Spe
TImid Nature

  • Psyshock
  • Focus Blast
  • Shadow Ball
  • Taunt

Psyshock is STAB and hits threats such as Monferno, Muk, and Roselia super effectively, also hitting Clefairy, Flareon, Altaria, and Regice on their weaker Defense stats. It also makes Kadabra and Mr. Mime think twice about switching in. Focus Blast destroys Rotom-Frost and Stoutland, the best Pokemon in the tier, and has a similar effect on Golem, Pawniard, Probopass, Ursaring, Audino, Cacturne, Bouffalant, Cryogonal, Regigigas, Lapras, Relicanth, Krokorok, Sawsbuck, Purugly, and others. Shadow Ball hits Beheeyem, Super size Gourgeist, Metang, Duosion, Dusknoir and Drifblim very hard, and hits Kadabra, Mr. Mime, and opposing Grumpig harder than Psyshock does. Taunt stops Roselia, Gabite, Metang, and Leavanny from laying hazards, stops Defog from Lumineon, Vullaby, and Primplup, prevents recovery from Articuno and Cryogonal, prevents Misdreavus from doing anything at all, and stops Nasty Plot, Agility/Rock Polish, and Swords Dance from the massively threatening Raichu, Beheeyem, Regice, and Pawniard respectively.

Grumpig (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 100 HP / 252 Def / 156 SpD
Bold Nature
- Psyshock / Calm Mind
- Thunder Wave
- Seismic Toss
- Focus Blast / Calm Mind

Psyshock for STAB.
Thunder Wave for crippling.
Seismic Toss to make use of not great attack stats.
Focus Blast for hitting Dark types.

Calm Mind is an option, but if you have Calm Mind you won't be able to hit either Ghost types or Dark types, depending on what you replace.

could gentle work too?
No, leave in bold unless you're changing the move set

Grumpig @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Trick
- Psychic / Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast / Hidden Power [Fighting]

Scarfed Grumpig! Trick gets rid of your Scarf if necessary, which can cripple defensive mons. Psychic gives more power but Psyshock allows you to hit special walls like Dragalge. Shadow Ball is nice coverage, and the choice of Focus Blast or Hidden Power [Fighting] is your choice of power versus accuracy. (I'd run Focus Blast.)

Grumpig @ Rocky Helmet / Leftovers / Focus Sash
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 SpA / 50 HP / 150 Spe / 58 SpD
Modest Nature
- Toxic
- Protect
- Confuse Ray
- Double Team

Counters for this Pokemon: Shuckle, Mega Gengar, Chandelure

Those are the main counters, at least.
You probably won't use this, anyway. Hope you think this is a fun moveset, bye!

I went ahead and assumed that "DOUBLE" means Double Team.

Grumpig @ Salac Berry
Ability: Gluttony
EVs: 12 HP / 244 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Belch
- Psychic
- Focus Blast

You first set up Calm Mind and raise your SpA.When your HP is under half, your Salac Berry activates and your Speed gets raised as well. Then sweep with rest of the moveset.
Small note that common Knock Off makes this moveset completely useless,so be careful about that too.
