With the masuda method, does one of the games have to be FROM another country or can you just change the language on the DS?
You can not change the language to use the masuda method, as the Pokemon's language is programmed into the cartridge, not the DS.
One pokemon must be from a different language. For example you can breed a Japanese Pokemon and an English Pokemon.
