Gen V

Breloom (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Mach Punch
- Spore
- Bullet Seed
- Swords Dance

With Technician, a high base attack stat, and Swords Dance, Breloom can dish out powerful attacks with Bullet Seed and a priority move in Mach Punch. Breloom should put something slower to sleep with Spore so it can have a free turn boost its power with Swords Dance. Leftovers gives Breloom a little passive HP recovery.

You're Swords Dance Techloom is Great!
You've got my vote!!!
(Tested on Showdown!!!)
Answering your own question, I see? Well...that's just fine.
You're allowed to do that on moveset questions and other such thread posts. I think I'd check the rules before ridiculing a mod.
When does Breloom learn those moves?
I would switch the Lefties with a Life Orb, but thats still a good.
just saying its impossible to have spore and mach punch since only shroomish gets spore at level 45 then only breloom can get mach punch at 23
@TechBreloom No it's not impossible to have breloom with both moves. Ever heard of the move reminder before? Located Fallarbor Town in Oras or Dendemille Town in xy. This function has been in the game since gen1 lol
My Breloom actually has a focus sash. Just Get outsped or outspeed something using spore and you can set up some Swords Dance.
why bullet seed? i know it has the techinician, but its still has a low power. why not any other grass move with less than 60 power? mega drain p.e. or grass hidden power?
and would force palm be better instead mach punch? its as 60 power still
i would replace Mach punch with Drain punch
The main issue with Drain Punch is that it doesn't get the Technician boost. Mach Punch goes from 40 power (excluding STAB for the moment) to 60, which, with STAB now, makes it a 90 power fighting type move with +1 priority. Drain Punch heals you, but priority would likely be more useful on a bit of a slower mon. Also, it has Swords Dance and a sky-high attack stat, so the power might not matter in the end. The priority will likely end up being the key factor.

As for Mega Drain, Force Palm, and Hidden Power, Force Palm would hypothetically be better, with more base power and a paralysis chance, but again, Mach Punch has priority that would guarantee moving first (except against other priority) rather than paralysis only coming into effect 30% of the time for Force Palm. And for the last part of this little rant, Mega Drain and Hidden Power are both special moves, making use of Breloom's crummy 60 base Special Attack stat rather than its absurdly high 130 Attack stat. They simply wouldn't be worth using and would likely do less damage (if someone could do the damage calculations on that it would be great).

Breloom (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Toxic Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Atk / 200 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Leech Seed
- Focus Punch
- Substitute

This set utilizes Breloom's ability Toxic Heal and utility moves Spore, Leech Seed, and Substitute to pull off a bulky set. Putting a slower Pokemon to sleep with Spore allows Breloom to either use Leech Seed, Substitute, or a powerful Focus Punch. Toxic Orb with Poison Heal lets Breloom have passive HP recovery while protecting it from other status conditions. Don't switch Breloom in to moves that have a chance to burn or paralyze.

Nice EV spread.
It's yours LOL
I knew it looked familiar :P
He isnt doing anything to ghost types apart from leech seed
Trevenant can wall the heck out of this thing and curse him
Soo why Jolly instead of timid?
Edit: Actually you placed the wrong stat changes -> "Jolly Nature (+Spd, -Atk)"
This is old post don't tell them they did something wrong no one will notice
Just trying to help passerbies that get confused.

Did poison heal breloom but instead of stone edge did rock slide so it has a higher chance of hitting (I get very unlucky with not 100 accuracy moves)

Tons of Shroomish movesets that I made

Shroomish (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Quick Feet / Poison Heal
EVs: 116 HP / 116 Atk / 116 Def / 116 SpD
Jolly Nature
- Seed Bomb
- Swords Dance
- Drain Punch
- Toxic

Swords dance raises your attack to be useable. Seed bomb offers STAB, Drain Punch for healing, and toxic works with decent offenses.

Shroomish (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Quick Feet / Poison Heal
EVs: 116 HP / 116 Def / 116 SpA / 116 SpD
Modest / Timid Nature
- Giga Drain
- Fake Tears
- Toxic
- Venoshock

Special attacking set. Giga drain is STAB and healing, while fake tears can force some switches. Toxic and venoshock combo is awesome.
Timid for Poison Heal, Modest for Quick Feet.

Shroomish (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 116 HP / 116 Atk / 116 Def / 116 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Seed Bomb
- Wake-Up Slap
- Spore
- Leech Seed / Swords Dance

Another physical set, using Spore and Wake-Up-Slap. Spore first, then set up Swords Dance or leech seed. Then, use Wake-Up-Slap. Seed Bomb is STAB.

Shroomish (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 116 HP / 196 Def / 196 SpD
Modest Nature
- Giga Drain
- Spore
- Leech Seed
- Protect

Stall Set. Giga Drain is STAB and healing, Spore for stalling, Leech seed for sapping health, and protect for even more stalling!

I can't believe no one posted this set yet!

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Facade
- Mach Punch
- Seed Bomb
- Stone Edge

Facade returns better than ever! Loom here gets both a 100% boost in Facade making it a base 140 power, and it heals him at the same time too! So Facade is for hitting anything that does not resist it hard. Mach Punch is to finished guys off. And it indeed you do finish a poke off, you alos get a free turn of healing. Seed Bomb is to hit annoying water pokes especially Jellicent who resists the rest of his moves here. Stone Edge is to hit flying pokes and for coverage.

I would personally take spore over stone edge, facade will take most flying types

Breloom (M) @ Life Orb / Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Mach Punch
- Spore
- Rock Tomb
- Bullet Seed

Mach Punch has Priority and has STAB. Spore is reliable for having perfect accuracy and puts the opponent to sleep. Rock Tomb has Coverage to Ice, Fire, and Flying. Bullet Seed has STAB and can break Focus Sashes, and Breaks Sturdy

Really doesn't need Leftovers, it's frail as heck anyway so having a healing item won't help much. Also you probably want SD since it's offences versus stuff not weak to STABs are mediocre. Pretty good though.

National Dex Monotype (Grass)

Breloom @ Fightinium Z / Rockium Z
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Focus Punch / Stone Edge / Superpower
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed

Swords Dance + Z move Breloom. Swords Dance is for boosting your attack. Let me explain Focus Punch. Focus Punch, when powered up with a Z-move, becomes a 200 BP nuke move, which can dent Celesteela, Corviknight, and Skarmory. Stone Edge can be used instead to deal with Pokemon like Volcarona, Araquanid, and Mega Charizard Y. If you use Stone Edge, run Rockium Z for a one time nuke to dent Pokemon like Celesteela and Corviknight. Superpower can be used as an option if you want a powerful fighting STAB in addition to Mach Punch. Superpower's Z-power is also Mach Punch is for priority STAB that is boosted by Technician. Bullet Seed is for Grass STAB that hits multiple times and gets a Technician Boost.

Great! Can you make one for Gen 9 UU?

Gen 9 NU SubPunch

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Tera Type: Rock / Ghost / Normal / Steel
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Seed Bomb
- Rock Tomb / Facade / Mach Punch / Leech Seed

Due to the banning of sleep moves by OU, Breloom, who was OU and UUBL (for Gen 7) for its career in competitive Pokemon, now finds itself in NU. Here is a SubPunch set Breloom can use in Gen 9 NU, a set that was originally from DPP OU.

Substitute is used to allow Breloom to use Focus Punch easier. You'll need to utilize Breloom's typing, predict the opponent not using an attacking move, or predict the opponent switching Pokemon to get a Substitute off. You can use not very effective moves such as Swampert's Flip Turn, Scarf Flygon's Earthquake, etc to help get up a Substitute. Tera also helps gives opportunities to setup a Substitute, depending on what Tera Type you use. With Substitute up, Breloom can use its powerful Focus Punch that can even dent Dragalge that isn't physically defensive. Seed Bomb is used for a reliable STAB move, targeting Water- and Ground-types such as Swampert, Quagsire, Basculegion, and Vaporeon. Rock Tomb is used to OHKO Talonflame on the switch even without the Technician boost. Rock Tomb is also useful to deal super effective damage to Chandelure and Hisuian Typhlosion. There are other moves you can use in the Rock Tomb slot. Facade takes advantage of Breloom being poisoned and is a nice neutral move to hit Pokemon who resists Breloom's STABs. Mach Punch is an option to give Breloom a priority move to pick off faster Pokemon that are weakened. Leech Seed is an option so Breloom can have more HP recovery while slowly chipping the opposing Pokemon's HP.

Tera Rock allows Breloom to resist Fire and Flying moves and is useful if Rock Tomb in the last slot. Tera Ghost is a neat Tera Type to become immune to Fighting moves, which can be useful to get a Substitute up against a Pokemon such as Mienshao locked into a Fighting move. Tera Normal is used if you use Facade so Facade can be a powerful STAB move. Tera Steel gives Breloom a type that can resist Flying and Fairy moves, and be immune to Poison move. The given Speed EVs allow Breloom to outspeed Max Speed Adamant Incineroar and Max Speed Modest Sylveon.

If you don't mind dedicating Tera Steel and Leech Seed on this Breloom set, you can try a EV spread of 252 Atk / 76 Def / 132 SpD / 48 Spe. This requires Breloom to use Tera Steel, as the 76 Defense EVs helps with Talonflame's Brave Bird not breaking Breloom's Sub immediately. The 132 Special Defense EVs are used to give a good chance of Vileplume's Giga Drain not breaking Breloom's Substitute immediately, allowing you to 1v1 it. Like I said, in order for the alternate EV spread to work, you HAVE TO USE TERA STEEL on Breloom for the two situations.

Subseed Breloom

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 236 HP / 252 Def / 20 Spe
Impish Nature
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Spore
- Focus Punch

This set is incredibly annoying, but also useful. Defense and HP investment allow Breloom with it's good typing to take many physical hits and put the opponent to sleep allowing for easy set up of substitutes. After Leech seed is set up and you have a substitute, continue setting them up as they knock them down to stall them to death getting 24% healing/turn with Toxic orb-seed combo. If they switch instead, hit them with seed and start over again. Focus Punch is for threats that are weak against fighting and still packs a great deal of damage with no investment in attack.

Breloom @ Focus Sash / Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Power-Up Punch
- Drain Punch
- Bullet Seed

Similar to Scyther used fly's set, this set utilises the foe being asleep to boost attack with Power up Punch. With technitian and STAB, PuP has 120 base power, the same as a non-stab close combat and boosts attack. Spore helps evade damage by putting the foe to sleep, and Drain Punch heals any damage taken. Bullet Seed is for damaging after PuP, with multi-hits at a +2 or more attack. It has base power of 75 after STAB and technitian, with multi hits and boosted attack from PuP on top of that. Sash is for faster flying types, like Talonflame, and lefties for healing. Lefties are best IMO, as swiching is best V flyinfg types.

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Spore
- Leech Seed / Mach Punch
- Seed Bomb
- Wake-Up Slap

Spore + Wake-Up Slap gives you a very spammable Base 140 power move. Seed Bomb gives you a decent STAB attack that doesn't wake your opponent up. Leech Seed + Poison Heal = Profit, or you can run Mach Punch to pick off weakened opponents.
