So, no one has suggested a Scarfed set apparently. I know it's speed isn't great, at base 70, but at level 50, and Jolly, its speed maxes out at 128x1.5=192 (Choice Scarf), which makes it out speed base 120's, with a +Spe nature, as well as outspeeding Greninja (Pre Battle Bond activating), and Noiven, and a few others in a weird speed tier. I've actually had a bunch of good OU games with this set. Everyone expects a Sub/Dance or Other similar bulky set.

Role: Revenge Killer/Sweeper

Scizor @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Superpower
- Iron Head
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch / Bug Bite

  • Superpower- Strong+Hits Heatran hard.
  • Iron Head-Stab
  • U-turn- Stab Scouting
  • Bullet Punch / Bug Bite- Stab+Technician

Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Swords Dance
- Roost

Bullet Punch and Bug Bite are both boosted by technician. Swords Dance are for even more damage. Roost is for healing.

Mega Sweeper:

Role: Physical Sweeper

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
Adamant Nature
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- Bullet Punch
- Iron Head
- X-Scissor
- Agility / Swords Dance

Bullet Punch: STAB, priority, power increased by Technician.
Iron Head: Main STAB, 30% flinch chance.
X-Scissor: STAB
Agility or Swords Dance: Agility increases speed by 2 stages, and Swords Dance increases attack by two stages. With Scizor's not so good speed, it's probably best to use Agility.

Non-mega Sweeper:

Scizor @ White Herb
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- Iron Head
- X-Scissor
- Superpower
- Acrobatics

Iron Head: STAB, 30% flinch chance
X-Scissor: STAB, boosted by Swarm
Superpower: Coverage, lowers Attack and Defense by one stage
Acrobatics: Coverage, doubles in power when white Herb is used

Scyther @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bug Bite
- Brick Break
- Dual Wingbeat
- U-turn

Ok, I can read your mind: Why on Earth am I posting Scyther instead of Scizor? Well, the answer is: It's way faster than a slow Scizor and still has a good attack stat. Scyther's high speed makes it a Fast Band, like it said on the Smogon analysis, and it's right. Its ability Technician makes weak attacks become strong with its high attack stat and the fact that it is banded. Brick Break is for dealing with Scyther's 4x weakness to Ice types like Cloyster and Rock types like Lycanroc-Dusk. U-turn to switch into bulkier mons that Scyther appreciates like Slowbro or Slowking that resists Lycanroc-Dusk's rock-type moves and Cloyster's Icicle Spear. STAB Dual WingBeat is for Technician to kick in and make it 60 BP 2 times hit to become 120 BP. Bug Bite for Technician to make it 90 BP and STAB for more power. A hazard remover would be really appreciated as it removes Stealth Rock that could take a huge amount of HP off Scyther.

Hope you like this moveset :).

Sciz (Scizor) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- X-Scissor
- Roost
- Swords Dance

Use Sword Dance first, then use bullet punch or X-scissor to sweep. Roost is for recovery.

Bug bite is better with technican

Scizor
Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
• Bullet Punch
• Dual Wingbeat
• Bug Bite
• Agility

Agility doubles speed, bullet punch is priority technician boosted STAB, Dual Wingbeat is technician boosted to 60 power per hit which goes up to an awesome 120 power, and bug bite is technician boosted STAB.

I don't think you need Bullet Punch if you already have Agility, so I'd suggest opting for Metal Claw or Iron Head

Scizor (M) @ Metal Coat
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 132 Def / 128 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- Dual Wingbeat
- U-Turn / X-Scissor

I chose to run this Scizor with Metal Coat instead of something like Life Orb cuz I wasnt running rest at the time and didn’t want to take 10% off from Life Orb but mostly due in part to my sheer force nidoking holding the life orb. Swords Dance for anything that resists the Bullet Punch, Dual Wingbeat for Technician, and your pick of either U-Turn for a safe switch or X-Scissor for more power.

Idk if this is a good set but I use it and it works pretty well
Gen 8:
Role: Physical Tank
Scizor @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- X-Scissor
- Dual Wingbeat
- Swords Dance

Bullet Punch has a base power of 60 (with Technician), which isn't super high, but this move also has Priority. Also is STAB
X-Scissor is reliable STAB.
Dual Wingbeat attacks the opponent twice, each with a base power of 60 (because of Technician).
Swords Dance: Raises Attack by two Stages

If you want to use keep that EV spread, I'd suggest running Roost instead of Dual Wingbeat. If not, you should keep it or use Knock Off, and change the EVs to 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe (you can also switch the nature to Jolly). Bug Bite is stronger than X-Scissor when boosted by Technician, has more PP, and can ruin weird berry strategies like SubSalac
I probably should've said this in the first place but this set is for Gen 8, which Scizor doesn't have Roost, Bug Bite, or Knock Off. I definitely agree that those moves would be better. And the reason this EVs don't have any speed is because it's a tank set, not a Sweeper set. Thank you for the feedback though :)
In Smogon formats like UU or OU, it does have access to those moves

Gen 8 PU

Scyther @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dual Wingbeat
- Knock Off / Quick Attack / Bug Bite
- Swords Dance
- U-turn / Roost

I'm kind of surprised that Heavy-Duty Boots Scyther isn't on here. Heavy-Duty Boots helps with Scyther's 4x weakness to Stealth Rock. Dual Wingbeat is STAB, hits twice, and gets a Technician boost. Knock Off cripples Pokemon switching in by removing their item. Quick Attack can be used instead for a priority revenge killing move. Bug Bite can be used instead for another Technician boosted STAB move. Swords Dance boosts your attack. U-Turn is for pivoting and keeping up momentum. Roost is an option for healing.

Gen 8 UU / National Dex UU

Scizor @ Metal Coat
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Dual Wingbeat
- Swords Dance
- Roost

Bullet Punch is priority STAB that gets boosted by Technician. Dual Wingbeat is to hit twice and also gets a Technician boost. Swords Dance boosts your attack. Roost is for healing.

Maybe Razor Claw can be good for Wingbeat ;)

Scizor (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 126 Def / 126 SpD
Adamant Nature
IVs: 0 SpA
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Swords Dance
- Roost

Analysis
Life Orb makes your attacks even stronger with the cost of some HP. Roost is there to help though.
Technician boosts up your priority Bullet Punch to 80 BP.
Adamant makes your physical attacks even stronger.
EVs are defensive because your main attack has priority.

Bullet Punch gets STAB and Technician's boost, making it an 80 BP, +1 priority move.
Superpower is great coverage, just be weary of that lowered Attack and Defense.
Swords Dance allows for your attacks to be even stronger and is your main set up move.
Roost is there just in case you get too low due to Life Orb or the other Pokemon deals some damage.

Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Quick Attack
- Brick Break / Superpower / Counter

  • Swords Dance: Boost Atk stats
  • Bullet Punch: Stab + Tehnician boost
  • Quick Attack: Coverage Fire, Water and Electric types +priority

Why Quick Attack over Knock Off? Why Focus Sash on a Pokemon that, from the looks of your EVs, is supposed to be bulky?

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U turn
- Knock Off
- Superpower

U turn to switch whenever you want, bullet punch to make up the low speed, Knock off the item, Superpower hits some common threats like Bisharp, and Excadrill that resist our attacks.

Scizor
Gen 8 OU/Gen 8 Battle Stadium
Byron (Scizor) (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn / Bug Bite / X-Scissor
- Superpower
- Dual Wingbeat
With Assault Vest, Max HP, and 4 SpD EV's, Scizor becomes deceivingly bulky on the special side.
And with your amazing Defense and HP, you either hit everything first and destroy them with Bullet Punch, or easily take a hit and nuke them back with any of your other moves.
If you play Battle Stadium Gen 8, use U-Turn or X-Scissor. If you play Showdown! Use U-Turn or Bug Bite.
Though be careful to not let your Scizor get scorched by the Libero bunny in Battle Stadium.
Enjoy.

It's about time I made a doubles moveset for (Mega) Scizor!

Gen 7 Doubles OU

Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 152 Atk / 108 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Protect

Swords Dance is to boost Scizor's attack to extremely high levels. Bullet Punch is steel STAB with priority that allows Scizor to finish off weakened opponents, and has it's power boosted by technician (watch out for Psychic Terrain though, since it blocks Bullet Punch). Superpower is coverage, hitting the steel types that resist Bullet Punch super effectively and also a certain fire cat that scares and flinches everyone (Incineroar). Protect is pretty much mandatory on any offensive Pokémon in doubles. It blocks all attacks, most notably Fake Out, and allows Scizor to scout for fire type coverage while it's ally can still attack or set up. 152 attack EVs and an Adamant nature allow Scizor to OHKO Incineroar at +1 attack with Superpower. The rest of the EVs increase Scizor's bulk.

Because Tapu lele's Psychic terrain renders Scizor's main source of Damage, Bullet Punch, useless, a team mate that can override Psychic Terrain is absolutely needed. Tapu Fini works great, since it can weaken fire types with water STAB, block status with it's Misty Terrain (which stops Psychic Terrain), and Heal Scizor with Heal Pulse.
