Is there any possible way to catch Mew in Soulsilver?

A Wi-Fi event happened a while ago and there in no other way to catch Mew unless on a chip you could use cheats, A kid traded one to me and I don't know how he got it. Then I traded it to my Heartgold

There is no current possible way. An event happened for him a while ago but it is long over.
