In October of last year, Shiny Meloetta was finally released as a reward you get after completing the Scarlet/Violet Pokedex (expansions included, must be obtained from S/V game).
More recently, Shiny Keldeo was finally released as a reward after completing the Sword/Shield Pokedex (expansions included, must be obtained from Sw/Sh game).
Additionally you could get another Shiny Meloetta for about $5 if you bought a Masterwork Research ticket from Pokemon GO. It was during GO Tour Unova however, and you have to catch a bunch of Pokemon for the first task. (Still on that).
Victini however, is still an unreleased shiny. Due to that, it now holds the record of Pokemon with longest time without a released shiny (it was released in late 2010 - that's when the Pokemon Black & White games came out in Japan)
How do you think it'll be released? Through a special Pokemon GO event/bundle (although Unova tour just ended), or through completing a Pokedex in Pokemon HOME?
Tell me your theories!
