Do the Tapus respawn if I knock them out?

So..... I accidentally knocked out Tapu Fini in Pokémon Sun. I wanted to catch it. Is there any way to make it respawn?

Yes, the Tapus respawn if you knock them out. However, you'll need to defend your title (beat the Pokemon League again) to get them respawn. Since you knocked out Tapu Fini, you'll need to beat the Pokemon League. After that, you can go back to the Ruins of Hope and Tapu Fini will be there.

If defeated or run from, it respawns after the player defends their title.
