My Gimmighoul chests are not respawning and it has been months, what can I do to get them to respawn?

I've tried fast fowarding the game manually but hasn't worked, it's been approximately 3-4 months since my last chest

Gimmighoul chests have a 5% chance of respawning every day. You're either getting unlucky, or messing with the clock is causing your chests to not respawn properly. I don't know if changing the clock affects the Gimmighoul chests, though...

Sadly it's just a waiting game and it's randomly selected when they will respawn.
I think that it's a 1 percent chance each day but I might be wrong.

Well the places that the chest is at is sometimes changing every time Mainly there at a watchtower you can really unmmmm get 3 a day so the answer is they do but in a differ place

Yes I already knew they respawned at the watchtowers, but unfortunately for me they have not so for me to get the coins I have to do it through pokemon go

I am afraid you are just stupidly unlucky. This states that a chest gimmi has a 5% chance of respawning every day. I would advise you to use Pokémon go postcards, which you said you are doing in the comments, but also collecting roaming gimmis, as they still provide you with coins just so you can chip at the amount of coins you have.

Also, if you want to know what they chances are of this happening, I did 5% x 78 (the amount of days between the day of post and the final comment made by you), which would equal to 3.9, which is suprisingly high to what I though it would be, but this could be because that is for one watchtower. Because there are 13 watchtowers, this would mean that the chance of not getting any chest gimmi in all of the towers is 13 x 3.9%, or 0.507, which is still just about possible.
