I have a nintendo dsi and a nintendo ds, and I want to transfer Pokemon from the dsi to the ds, is it possible?

Yeah, assuming its the same game you can just trade between them
If you have one game, you can just take it out of the DSi and insert it into the DS. If you have 2 games, you should be able to put your 2 devices near each other and trade on a local connection.

Yep! There are multiple ways, depending on your preference. FYI, everything on here does not require Wi-Fi, since Nintendo stopped B/W Wi-Fi trading, battling, etc.

  1. Locally trade (credit to sumwun): If you are able to have both devices open on their respective games at the same time, you should be able to locally trade with each other using the in-game Union Room.
  2. Infrared trade (I think this is the best choice): If you are able to have both devices open on their respective games at the same time close to each other, you can use Infrared Trading using the C-Gear.
  3. Changing game cards (credit to sumwun, again): The game save data is located in the cartridge. So, if you insert your dsi cartridge of B/W into your DS, you should get the same data.

Hope I helped!
